01Are these official, trusted links?
Yes — every link points at the organisation's own website: government departments, the banks and insurers themselves, the transport operators, and the apps students here actually use. We do not link to intermediaries or referral pages.
02Do I need all of these apps before I arrive?
No. Before you fly, the useful ones are IDOS for timetables, Mapy.cz for getting around, and your bank's app. The rest — food and grocery delivery, mobile providers, job boards — are better set up once you have a Czech address and phone number.
03Can I suggest a resource to add to this page?

04What should I do in a genuine emergency?
Call 112. It is the general emergency number across the Czech Republic and the whole EU, and it reaches an English-speaking operator. Use 155 for an ambulance, 150 for the fire brigade and 158 for the police if you know which service you need.
