FAQ

Student Life FAQ

01Can I work part-time while studying?

Yes. International students can work up to 20 hours a week alongside their studies, which is enough to cover day-to-day costs without competing with your timetable.

02What is the stay-back option after graduation?

Eligible international students can apply for a stay-back permit of up to 9 months after graduating, to look for employment or to start a business in the Czech Republic.

03When should I apply for visa renewal?

Between 90 and 120 days before your current visa expires. Leaving it later risks a gap in your residence status, so our team tracks the date with you and prepares the documentation in advance.

04What does the ISIC student card offer?

Discounts across the country — on public transport, museums, cinemas, restaurants and attractions. It is the single cheapest thing you can carry as a student here.

05Is the Czech Republic safe for international students?

Yes, it consistently ranks among the safer countries in Europe, with low crime rates in university cities.
